Aims and Objectives
Construction committee of Bapujee College, Sarukshetri is a representative body which acts as an advisory body for construction activities of the college. The committee is primarily concerned with the physical environment of the College. When the principal wants to undertake any construction activity, it may be construction of new buildings or renovation/extension of the existing buildings in the college; he will call a meeting of the construction committee and place the proposal in the meeting for discussion. The members of the committee will discuss the issue and put their suggestions for the construction activity. When the construction committee approves the proposal, the principal will place it to the Governing Body with the suggestions of the construction committee for final approval.

Functions:
1. The committee is entrusted with the duty to look after all construction activities of the college
2. It carries out the projects of construction approved by Govt. Authorities/U.G.C.
3. It supervises all the construction works of the college. It looks into the collection, preservation and utilization of building materials.
4. Time to time review of the progress of the construction work is also made by the committee members.
5. It has to look over the maintenance of the buildings of the college and to put suggestions for renovation if and when necessary.
6. It has to look for the schemes of Government and UGC for construction activities.
7. It has to select engineer / architect where technical expertise is required.
