By providing a structured framework for research activities, the Cell aims to transform Bapujee College into a center of excellence that addresses local and global challenges through systematic study.
Aims & Objectives
• Cultivate Curiosity: To foster a vibrant research environment where critical thinking and scientific temper are prioritized.
• Knowledge Creation: To encourage the publication of high-quality research papers, books, and articles in reputed journals.
• Social Impact: To promote research that addresses the socio-economic needs of the local community and the region.
• Grant Acquisition: To assist faculty in securing funding from national and international agencies like UGC, ICSSR, and CSIR.
• Ethical Integrity: To ensure all research activities adhere to the highest standards of academic honesty and ethics.
Key Functions
• Workshops & Training: Organizing seminars, webinars, and training sessions on research methodology and intellectual property rights (IPR).
• Resource Management: Upgrading laboratory facilities, digital libraries, and subscription to e-journals to support advanced study.
• Project Monitoring: Overseeing the progress of minor and major research projects undertaken by faculty members.
• Student Mentorship: Guiding students through undergraduate research projects and encouraging participation in science fairs and academic competitions.
• Collaboration: Facilitating MoUs and partnerships with industries and other academic institutions for joint research ventures.
Institutional Framework
• Advisory Committee: Comprising the Principal, R&D Coordinator, and senior faculty members to set policy and direction.
• Seed Money Scheme: (Optional/Proposed) Providing initial financial support to faculty for pilot studies.
• Annual Progress Report: A yearly compilation of the college’s research output to track growth and impact.
