Anti-Ragging Committee

Cell Profile

Introduction
At Bapujee College, Sarukshetri, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing academic environment for all students. In compliance with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the University Grants Commission (UGC), our Anti-Ragging Cell follows a 'Zero-Tolerance Policy' toward any act of ragging.
Ragging is a criminal offence that undermines the dignity of students and can have severe psychological and physical consequences. Our cell ensures that every fresher feels secure and welcomed as they begin their journey at our institution.

Core Objectives
• Awareness: To educate students on the dehumanising effects of ragging and its legal repercussions.
• Prevention: To maintain continuous vigilance through a dedicated Anti-Ragging Squad that monitors the campus, library, and common areas.
• Prompt Action: To stringently and impartially deal with any reported incidents in accordance with UGC guidelines.

• Financial extortion or forceful expenditure.

• Mandatory Undertakings: Every student and their parent must submit an Anti-Ragging Affidavit at the time of admission.
