Students seeking admission in to the H.S. and B.A. classes of this college
must apply in the prescribed forms obtainable from the college website
along with a copy of college prospectus.
Admission is done on the basis of merit (both Honours and Regular course). Of
course 50% seats of all the subjects offering major course are reserved for those
students who pass H.S. Final Examination from this College.
The dates for admission are circulated by the Principal through notices on the
college website.
Students willing to take major in any subject must secure 30% marks in
English and 50% marks in the concerned subject.
As per govt. rules a few seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, physically
disabled and deserving students in extra curricular activities etc.
The decision of the Head of the Department is final in case of granting Major
subject to the students.
After the expiry of the last date of admission fixed by the H.S. Council or
Gauhati University, no student will be admitted into the college.

(b) Higher Secondary 2nd Year - 350
(c) B.A. 1st Year - 400

The students should submit the scanned copies of the following
documents along with the application form for admission.
The original of the same documents must be carried with them for verification
on dates fixed by the college authority.
Certificate, Marksheet, Admit Card and Registration Card of H.S.L.C. Examination
(for students seeking admission into H.S. Classes.)
Certificate, Marksheet, Admit Card, and Registration Card of HigherSecondery
Examination in addition to the documents mentioned in 10 (a) for
verification (for students seeking admission into B.A. Classes).
Caste certificate in case of SC, ST, OBC, MOBC candidates.
A copy of latest passposrt size photograph duly attested must be attached
with the admission form.
Students who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than the
current year will have to submit a gap certificate from the Head of the
institution, last attended or a gazetted officer testifying his / her activities
during the interim period.
The application form must be duly signed both by the student and his / her guardian. Inclusion of contact numbers of the guardian at proper places of
the application form is mandatory.
Bank Account in details of the students (own) is mandatory as per Govt. rule.
